Your energetic compass in Human Design
Hello friends,
As promised, this is a continuation of exploring your energetic compass, or Signature, within the Human Design types.

Last article was focused on Projectors and the signature of Success and what that means and how to approach that as a feeling in the body.
In this article I’ll focus on Generators and Manifesting Generator types whose signature is SATISFACTION.
I have to admit that word tends to always remind me of the Rolling Stones song. And actually it’s pretty appropriate to remember that song:
When the man comes on the radio
Telling me more and more
About some useless information
Supposed to drive my imagination
It speaks of the relentless input of information and how it wants to target our minds trying to convince us of something that may or may not be true for us.
When we begin to trust in our own inner authority and use the strategy that is right for us, then something indescribable happens. We come to know who we are. Not what we are told we are, not what the media pushes onto us.
When we know who we are, we know the whole universe.
We know the individual and the whole universe are not separate.
And that knowing is beyond information that can be taught to the individual. Knowledge that comes from outside ourselves is like a map, good or bad map, but it’s still a map and not the territory.
But I digress slightly.
Generators and Manifesting Generators out there:
I celebrate you for the incredible work you do. The amazing forms you create from ideas. Your ability to transform and innovate and ability to do the work to achieve a vision.
Your energetic compass is SATISFACTION.
And what this means is that you must FEEL satisfied in what you are doing or feel that any prospect you might potentially say yes to doing will provide you that unwavering feeling of satisfaction. You are designed to follow what brings you satisfaction, otherwise frustration sets in.
Satisfaction as Feeling
Explore how satisfaction feels and expresses itself in your body?
Mmmmmmm, mmmm, mmm, Is the sound, Like something very delicious.
A lightness and a rise of energy (without coffee, wink wink)
If it feels heavy, or there is a nah,uh sound arising in you, then it’s something that you best say a big fat NO to, no matter what the mind may throw at you.
Don’t say yes to things because your mind convinces you of
‘how white your shirt can be.’
Don’t let the mind make any decisions for you.
This is the whole point of Human Design.
To follow your own inner compass, to make decisions by using your Human Design inner authority, and to use the strategy that allows life to flow through you, and for you to surrender to that flow. (I’ll speak more on authority and strategy for different types in other articles).
Generators and Manifesting Generators, follow your energetic compass SATISFACTION, and only say YES to those things that make you feel satisfied or have the potential to.
Trust your body. It knows far more than your mind.
Ask yourself, if I say yes to this will it bring me feelings of satisfaction? Will I feel satisfied doing this?
Then listen to your body (not your mind) to receive the answer from your inner authority and TRUST it.
Be true to you,
Know what that means,
Embrace your unique individual expression within the whole of creation.
